William L. Winston, CFRE has
- 25 years experience in nonprofit management and development, and

He received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Virginia from the University of Richmond in political science and public administration. He subsequently received the degree Master of Public Administration (with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management and Development) from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, ranked Seventh in the nation by US News and World Report. He is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha honorary public administration fraternity.
William L. Winston is a certified Professional Mediator. He received his basic training in mediation and conflict resolution from the Lancaster Mediation Center (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) and subsequently he completed advanced training in mediation and alternative dispute resolution at the Seton Hall Law School Center for Mediation and Dispute Resolution. Bill Winston also has received the degree Master of Divinity from the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia.
Bill Winston's professional experience includes all aspects of nonprofit management and administration, especially in the areas of fundraising and development as well as the integration and use of computer technology in the nonprofit sector. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and of the New Jersey Chapter and of the Greater New York City Chapter of the AFP. He is also a member of the Gift Planning Council of New Jersey and its national organization, the National Committee on Planned Giving.
